Who can curate a collection?

We invite everyone to curate collections on Blind Boxes. Commonly, our curators are artists, brands, influencers, and industry specialists. Large-scale collectors use our platform to boost liquidity for their NFT collections, while smaller collectors find it beneficial to circulate their assets and earn revenue. Think of Blind Boxes as your playground for NFTs, a space to discover and innovate.

How does it work, technically?

Curators are the hub of the platform.

Curators are central to the platform, leveraging their networks and expertise in the NFT realm to bridge buyers and sellers. Here's how the process unfolds:

1. A curator initiates an empty collection.

2. During setup, the curator forms a whitelist, akin to a guestlist, specifying wallet addresses permitted to contribute NFTs to the collection.

3. The curator then shares a collection link with collaborators.

4. These collaborators, often artists, brands, or other collectors, proceed to add their NFTs, setting a price for each.

5. Once the collection reaches capacity, the curator examines its contents and finalizes it. Subsequently, every NFT is individually packaged into a blind box. All blind boxes within the collection bear a uniform price, calculated as the average of the NFT prices.

6. The collection is then made available for purchase.

7. Buyers can acquire individual NFTs from the collection until stocks deplete. Upon selling out, payments are auto-disbursed via a smart contract.

8. Curators receive a commission, set during the collection's inception. Meanwhile, contributing artists earn based on the value they added to the collection, proportional to their NFT's price tag.

What does it mean to be a featured curator?

Creators and brands may apply to Blind Boxes to join the official roster. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Featured curators benefit from:

1. having their collections listed on the "Featured Page".

2. ongoing marketing and promotion

3. bespoke articles promoting the collections and curator

4. Telegram, Twitter, Instagram, Discord, and Reddit PR
